I teach beginners through competitive dance . I offer ballroom dance classes and lessons for adults in the Boise, Idaho area. (Including Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and more!)
Ballroom dancing is such an amazing feat! It is a couples dance as well as an improvisational dance. This sets it apart from other dance forms, which depend on choreography to determine a sequence of patterns.
I like to say that learning ballroom dance is challenging, but fun work. You are dancing with your partner and for your partner. This is why dancing is not to be a grim experience but a fun activity! Studies have shown that ballroom dance in specific, is beneficial to both your brain as well as your body.
I provide all the tools you need to become either a serious or social dancer. You and I work together and customize the program to meet your needs.

Who am I?
I am one of only a few credentialed ballroom instructors in the state of Idaho. What this means to you is that I have taken rigorous examinations to attain this certification. I have over 20 years of teaching experience and have earned professional medals. I have ballroom competition background in both Pro/Am and Pro/Pro. Because I personally believe that good instructors need to be continually learning, I have also received,and still receive coaching from some of America’s finest professional dancers. I teach all syllabi patterns that are accepted by the National Dance Council of America.
